Zuhair joined Saudi Aramco in 1978. He was appointed Executive Director of Drilling and Workover in 2007. His work has been in the disciplines of oil production and drilling industries, holding roles in Production and Drilling.

This presentation will discuss the challenges faced with integrity issues in ageing fields. It will outline potential solutions to combat these problems in the long term. Then moving on to reveal proactive strategies with existing fields that will maintain integrity for the life of the well.

This presentation deals with the key challenges created from the rapid drilling growth - equipment and people. To manage the consequences Saudi Aramco has adopted a ‘Page to Practice’ approach for safety. The systems are maintained through the ‘Five Ps’ which are measurable even during recent periods of increased rig activities and inexperienced manpower.
